San Mateo County Wants to Hear from Immigrants

On Feb. 8, 2022, the Board of Supervisors is expected to announce the launch of a survey to help inform the County’s first Immigrant Inclusion Strategic Plan.

Everyone who identifies as an immigrant is invited to take the survey in any of 12 languages. Respondents will receive a $10 gift card while supplies last. Starting tomorrow, take the survey at https://tinyurl.com/smcosurvey

Special Meeting Jan. 25th - MCC/RCD Wildfire Listening Session

The MidCoast Community Council will hold a special meeting in conjunction with RCD, which is conducting a public listening session regarding the El Granada Wildfire Resiliency Scoping Project. Agenda to be provided by RCD. The meeting will be held remotely from 6 pm to as late as 8 pm. on Tuesday, January 25th. You can join via Zoom.

This is posted as a special meeting of the MCC in order to allow a quorum of councilmembers to attend the meeting. On an ongoing basis, you can find more information about this project and our efforts to prevent wildfire on the Midcoast here: Wildfire in the Midcoast.
