On December 2, 2021, the San Mateo County Transportation Authority (TA) Board of Directors approved the County's grant application for the Moss Beach State Route 1 Congestion & Safety Improvements Project. The grant will support the development of a document required by Caltrans, "Project Study Report-Project Development Support (PSR-PDS)" for the Moss Beach SR-1 corridor, from 16th Street to Cypress Avenue. The planning project is expected to begin in Spring 2022. More details here.
