County Parks Seeks Input on Quarry Park Master Plan - Public Meeting new date May 10

The San Mateo County Parks Department is entering the final phase of the Quarry Park Master Planning process with the release of the Draft Master Plan for public review at https://parks.smcgov.org/press-release/quarry-park-master-plan-posted-public-review. Comments on the plan will be documented during public meetings and accepted by email at ParksandRecreation@smcgov.org. Written comments must be received by Monday, May 30, 2022. The plan reflects input gathered from the community during a series of public meetings between 2017 and 2020. It states goals and recommendations for trails, visitor facilities and natural resource management in Quarry Park and Mirada Surf and will guide park developments over the next 20 years. To learn more about the plan, ask questions, and provide your comments, attend a meeting via Zoom on May 10 at 7 p.m. at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83986755909.

The MCC expects to host Parks Director Nicholas Calderon at our meeting on May 25, 2022, and there will be a chance to ask questions about the Master Plan.
