The California Attorney General (AG) is reviewing the proposed change in control and governance of Daughters of Charity Health System, a California nonprofit religious corporation, that owns and operates Seton Medical Center and Seton Medical Center Coastside. The purpose of the meeting is to receive comments on the proposed change in control and governance of the facility and to consider the Health Care Impact Statements prepared by consultants engaged by the AG (to be posted here prior to the meeting). Speakers include the AG’s office, the consultant who provided the feasibility report, Seton CEO, a representative from Prime Healthcare, and public officials. At least an hour will be available for public comment.
