Moss Beach State Route 1 Congestion & Safety Improvements Project Update

The County of San Mateo, San Mateo County Transportation Authority, and Caltrans are preparing a draft environmental document for the Moss Beach State Route 1 Congestion & Safety Improvements Project and will host a public workshop in spring/summer 2026.

State of the Coastside - February 12, 2026

The 2026 State of the Coastside community event is Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 6-8 PM, at Mavericks House, 107 Broadway at Pillar Point Harbor.

State of the Coastside is a public, open, and free forum designed to bring together multiple Coastside agencies to share brief updates with the community. Open dialogue and community engagement is encouraged. The event will be emceed by Lenny Mendonca.

Notice of MCC Vacancies To Be Filled By Appointment

Applications are being accepted for appointment to the Midcoast Community Council (MCC). There are currently two vacant seats. To be eligible, applicants must be a registered voter in the unincorporated Midcoast communities of Montara, Moss Beach, El Granada, Princeton, or Miramar. Applicants should plan to attend in-person at the February 25, 2026, meeting of the MCC.
