Harbor District Princeton Land Acquisition Dec 2024

At 12/20/2024 Special Meeting, the SMC Harbor District Board approved purchase of six contiguous parcels at the northwest corner of Princeton & Vassar for $1,450,000 (staff report).  The parcels are paved, have a perimeter fence and one water connection, and are currently used for boat storage.

There was no formal statement of purpose for the parcels, but Commissioner Slater-Carter responded to a public comment opposed to the purchase that space was needed to work on and store harbor equipment.
