Board of Supervisors' New Members Mueller & Corzo Sworn In
Noelia Corzo and Ray Mueller were sworn in January 3, 2023, to the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors. Together, they represent the largest change on the five-member Board in a generation. The last time two new members were sworn in at the same time was 1993. Mueller succeeds Don Horsley as District 3 representative. Corzo succeeds Carole Groom as District 2 representative. Both Horsley and Groom were termed out of office.
Ray Mueller represents District 3, which includes the Coastside. A resident of Menlo Park, Mueller campaigned on a message of addressing challenges such as affordable housing, investment in Coastside infrastructure and environmental stewardship, among other issues. He has pledged to do “impactful work on behalf of San Mateo County District 3, work which will make a difference to our quality of life, our safety, our economy, our environment and our future.” He previously served on the Menlo Park City Council.
