Cypress Point Housing EIR and 9/13 Public Hearing

The Draft Environmental Impact Report for Cypress Point Affordable Housing Community Project has been completed and is available for public review and comment. See the Notice of Availability (NOA) and Draft EIR with attachments.

On Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at 9AM, SMC Planning Commission will conduct a public meeting to solicit written and oral comments regarding the content of the EIR from interested persons, organization, or agencies. The meeting will be conducted in person in the Board of Supervisors Chambers and via video conference. The agenda includes instructions on how to access the meeting online through Zoom.

Public Comment: Written comments on the Draft EIR will be accepted until 5:00 PM, Monday September 25, 2023. In addition to mail delivery, comments may also be submitted by email to planningprojects@smcgov.org. Please include “Cypress Point EIR” in the subject line.

The MCC will agendize this topic at an upcoming meeting.

Measure K Meeting Aug. 9th on Midcoast postpones MCC Regular Meeting

The MCC Regular Meeting for Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2023, is postponed one week to Aug. 16. There is a conflict with an important meeting to discuss Measure K funding for the Midcoast. Per Mike O'Neill:

"The format is basically a presentation on Measure K and a discussion on what it can and cannot fund.  After the presentation the attendees will be broken into smaller groups to discuss items of interest.  There will also be an online survey which is being made which I will forward to you when I get it.

Meeting is 5:30 to 7:00 PM at Ray's Harbor Office."

New Moss Beach Fire Station #44 Community Meeting Aug 8, 6pm

Coastside Fire Protection District (CFPD) will host a community meeting for Moss Beach & Montara residents regarding the new Fire Station #44
Tuesday, Aug 8, 2023, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, 501 Stetson St, Moss Beach
