Midcoast Water Quality Webinar April 21

The San Mateo Resource Conservation District is putting on a webinar focused on water quality on the Midcoast: April 21, 2021, from 6-7pm. Register

Have you seen warnings about bacteria at beaches in coastal San Mateo County? Are you concerned or curious about local beaches that made the "Top 10 Beach Bummers in California" list? Where is water pollution coming from? Which pollutants affect humans and which ones affect wildlife? How does pollution from coastal San Mateo County compare to nearby counties? Who is doing something to ensure clean beaches and creeks, and what can we do as local residents and businesses to help?

Join our webinar on April 21st at 6pm. Noah Katz, the Water Quality Program Manager at the San Mateo Resource Conservation District, will answer some of these questions and more. The link to join the webinar will be sent to all who register.
