Quarry Park Master Plan Community Meeting Apr 24

April 24, 2018, 7-9pm
El Granada Elementary School

The process of creating the master plan for Quarry Park and Mirada Surf continues at this community meeting. Participants will review a draft of the master plan with San Mateo County Park staff and consulting firm Gates and Associates. This meeting provides another opportunity for park users to share their comments related to elements of the plan contained in the draft document.

The next steps in this process include sharing the Draft Master Plan document with the public beginning early May. The document will be posted on the Quarry Park Master Plan Development page. The final Master Plan document is tentatively scheduled to be presented to the San Mateo County Parks and Recreation Commission at its August 2, 2018 meeting.

Sea Level Rise Vulnerability Assessment

Understanding how sea level rise will affect San Mateo County residents, businesses, services and infrastructure is the first step in building prepared, healthy and safe communities. The 2018 SMC Sea Level Rise Vulnerability Assessment aims to do just that.

The report includes Asset Vulnerability Profiles which evaluate potential impacts and suggest solutions:

Hwy 1 at Surfers’ Beach
