MCC Special Meeting (Retreat) Jan 17, 10AM

The annual MCC Administrative and Planning Retreat will be held Saturday, January 17, starting at 10:00 AM at Granada Community Services District, 504 Alhambra, third floor, El Granada.  The public is welcome. Supervisor Horsley will attend during the first hour to discuss his 2015 priorities for the Midcoast.  AGENDA

Big Wave Project at Planning Commission Jan 14

SMC Planning Commission will consider approval of development permits for the revised Big Wave North Parcel Alternative at a Public Hearing 

January 14, 2015, 5:00 PM, at El Granada Elementary School.

UPDATE:  On 1/14/15 the SMC Planning Commission voted 4-1 to approve the project, with Commissioner Zoe Kersteen-Tucker opposed. The decision is appealable to the Coastal Commission.  Meeting video

“Brews & Views” Jan 8: Connect the Coastside

Supervisor Don Horsley and Project Outreach Manager Kendall Flint will present an update and participate in a group discussion on Connect the Coastside, a Comprehensive Transportation Management Plan that will identify programs and improvements along Highway 1 and Highway 92 to accommodate the Midcoast’s future transportation needs. Hear about preliminary study results and key transportation issues and challenges facing the Coastside. Project page
