An elected Municipal Advisory Council to the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors,
representing unincorporated Montara, Moss Beach, El Granada, Princeton, and Miramar
Six candidates are on the November ballot for 3 open seats on the Granada Sanitary District Board of Directors. At this Regular MCC Meeting, the League of Women Voters will moderate the forum, asking questions submitted by the public at the meeting.

UPDATE: At the start of the forum, Candidate Claude Windell announced that he was stepping away from the race, citing the need to attend to family matters. Though his name will still appear on the ballot, he asked that votes instead be given to the other four candidates.

Concerned about the imminent threat of road embankment failure and Highway 1 closure at Surfer’s Beach, Supervisor Horsley has appealed to Caltrans to take immediate action to protect the highway before this winter’s storms.
