At California Coastal Commission hearing 4/11/13, Commission staff withdrew the proposed Pillar Point Harbor dredging permit waiver for launch ramp dredging and placement of 5,600 cubic yards of dredge material on Perched Beach next to the kayak stand (waiver & public comments). Staff will do additional analysis to bring to a future meeting. In the meantime the launch ramp dredging is on hold.

Harbor Dredging Permit Waiver proposed
On April 11 the Coastal Commission will consider a Permit Waiver for Pillar Point Harbor dredging of boat launch ramps and placement of 5,600 cubic yards of dredge material on Perched Beach next to the kayak stand. If 3 Commissioners object to the Waiver, then a Coastal Development Permit will be required.
