Two planning updates are underway for HMB Airport. County Dept of Public Works is doing an internal Airport Layout Plan update, expected to be completed next year. C/CAG (City/County Association of Governments) is beginning the multi-year process of updating the HMB Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan. See the Airport Issues Page for more details and links.
San Mateo County Coastside Tsunami-Preparedness Assessment Report published June 2012 evaluates the community response during the March 11, 2011, voluntary tsunami evacuation warning following the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, and makes recommendations for improvements.
Draft Program Environmental Impact Report (June 2012) is now available on County web page for this issue. A good brief descripton of what the ordinance would do is included in the Notice of Availability for the EIR.
