New Princeton Shoreline Viewing Benches at Broadway

Celebrate the completion of the first project in a sequence of Princeton Waterfront Street-End Improvements:
         Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at 11:00 AM,
         Broadway at Princeton shoreline.
The new viewing area consists of two rustic wood benches, relocated guard rail, and an informational sign.  The project was implemented by County Parks and Public Works with District 3 Measure K funding allocated by Supervisor Horsley.  (2/8/17 MCC presentation)

Next phase in the project is expected to be shoreline access improvement at Columbia.

MCC Vacancy for Term Ending Nov 2020

Applications are being accepted for appointment by the Board of Supervisors to fill a vacancy on the Midcoast Community Council (MCC) for a term ending in November 2020.  To be eligible, applicant must be a registered voter residing in the unincorporated Midcoast communities of Montara, Moss Beach, El Granada, Princeton or Miramar.

The mission of the MCC is to provide the community with a more effective means to express its views to the County of San Mateo and other governmental agencies on matters of concern to the community, and to contribute to the community’s awareness of issues of public import by providing a forum for discussions.  Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month, 7:00 PM – 9:30 PM (ending time varies), at 504 Ave Alhambra, 3rd floor, El Granada.

Deadline for receipt of applications is Friday, October 20, 2017, at 5:00 PM.  Applicants will be interviewed at the regular MCC meeting on October 25, 2017, for a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors.
