At Wednesday’s regular MCC meeting the League of Women Voters will moderate a forum of the six candidates for Harbor District. The candidates will make opening statements followed by a question and answer period. The public is encouraged to attend and submit questions. The forum portion of the meeting starts promptly at 7:30 - at Seton Medical Center, Marine Blvd, Moss Beach. Please park in the visitor's lot - first left coming uphill to Seton.

The Silicon Valley Watershed Summit will be held from 8:30am to 2:30pm at Foothill College. The summit is a gathering of activists and elected officials, agency staff and non-profit leaders, and the newly-interested, to learn about and take steps to improve our local watersheds in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. This event will focus on *Big Picture* issues and also effective location organization.

There will be a meeting of the Midcoast Parks and Recreation Committee on Tuesday, September 11 at 7:30pm in the Meeting Room of the Granada Sanitary District (3rd Floor, 504 Avenue Alhambra, El Granada, CA 94018. The meeting will be chaired by Sam Herzberg of San Mateo County Parks.
