The Coastside Fire Protection District has submitted permit applications to the County for the new 12,340 s/f Granada Station #41 (project page) on the vacant parcel bounded by Obispo, Alhambra and Coronado, with entry via Obispo.

Subdivision to split 2.7-acre parcel into 0.32-acre in C1 zone at Portola and 2.37 acres in EG zone along Obispo to Coronado.

Parcel size will be 2.37 acres where minimum is 3.5 acres.
Building height 30 ft where 16 ft maximum is allowed
Front/rear setbacks 8 ft combined, where 70 ft minimum is required
Lot coverage 11.9% where 10% maximum is allowed
